A Date Night - Layout!



Here's a layout I made of a 'Date Night' last August. Ralph and I went out to eat at Benihanas.

We LOVE Benihanas! Sushi. Mai Tai. Yummo!

 

I really love the way this turned out. I used Spring Love Digi Papers and the Spring Love 3x4 Digi Tags. The flair, triangle tag and yellow doily are from Chic Tags, Thanks you Veronica!!! I scored the yellow doily and made a rosette. The bakers twine and jute ribbon are from Wild Orchid Crafts and the adorable spotted button is by Dear Lizzy. Tell me you don't LOVE that Heart Pennant Die from La La Land Crafts. The wood arrow veeners are from Freckled Fawn and the  wood car one is by Studio Calico. Oh, and the little tag in the corner is from Elle's Studio! I took some sprits sprays and made some splatters around the paper. I LOVE the way it all turned out.

New LOTV card.. and I'm a bit chatty.. :)

Hello crafty peeps!

 

Here's a card I made using the newest release from Lili of the Valley.

 I just love these little furry cuties! Oh, and did you see the new stitch stamps! Love these!!

 I wanted to make this a 'chocolate looking bunny' since we will be making this in my next class at This and That Scrapbooking in Chino Hills, Ca on March 6th. If you are in the Southern California area you should come on down! You can see more information on the

I sure have been busy over the last few weeks. Making projects, papers and I'm so excited about all of the things I've been working on. I've got a busy posting week ahead and I'm going to TRY to be a little more active with my postings.

 

I have a new Digi-Paper Collection coming out this week and I LOVE it.

I can't wait to show you.

 

I've also re-organized my Craft Armoire.. so a tour will be posted soon. If you don't have a whole lot of extra money to spend or space to spare you wont want to miss my little tour!

Saturated Canary Challenge - Color Scheme



Project Life Week 1.

 

I'm a little behind with my Project Life project.. already, like I knew I would be.

It's ok though, as long as I take notes each week.. :)

I have just fallen in love with this whole Project Life idea. I think it's so much easier than Scrapbooking and you focus more on the memory of what you are doing. Plus, I love all the little pockets! I have used my digi-papers Spring Love and I've also made some little Tags and Arrows to match the papers AND some 3x4 Journal Cards! You can view them all in my Etsy Shop!

I also have used some tags from Chic Tags,flair buttons from ShopEvalicious, Wood veeners and alphabets from Studio Calico, Kaiser Craft Alphabets, My Minds Eye brads. Some of the brads and tags are AC - Dear Lizzy.
The image I used is the Saturated Canary Stamp, 'Lilliana'. These images have so much character and emotion I think I want to try to include one on every Project Life week. This way I can still color and see how my coloring changes over time. :)

I made this for this weeks challenge at Saturated Canary. We are having a color scheme. You need to use 3 of the colors in the pallette.

..but here's my card for the current Challenge at Saturated Canary. Our theme is to use an

image that reminds you of a movie. I chose this adorable new Saturated Canary Rubber Stamp, available at Little Darlings Rubber Stamps, her name is 'Pitcher'. I absolutely LOVE her!

I got this basket at Hobby Lobby for about $5. I love the way it opens.

 I just covered the top with the new #3068 Tilda with Heart Socks from the new

Magnolia Love Collection. I made little hearts with my copics to make it look like she's throwing tiny hearts. It came out pretty cute!

New Stamp Release at LOTV!

 

It's time for a new release at Lili of the Valley.

I have a sneak peek for you all. I 'tried' and I really emphasize the 'tried' because I think I could have done better... with the coloring. I was trying to go for the old fashion look.. you know those photos with the little boy and girl and they are black and white or sepia and have a red rose? Well, that's what I wanted this to look like. :)

 

Today is my little girl's Birthday. My baby is 6. I offially do not have a child 5 and under..

Now I feel old.... well, not really.

Hi there everyone!

 

Such a busy last few weeks.

 I have a class tonight at This and That Scrapbooking in Chino Hills.

I leave for CHA on Friday.

I've been busy making samples and enjoying all the crafting time I've been able to do over Christmas break. The kiddos went back to school this past Monday.. so no more jammie days. :(

A Scrapbook Page with Lili of The Valley!

I have a Scrapbook page to share today.

 I made it using Lili of the Valley's Promises Paper Padand the Baby's Companion Stamp Set.

 I just love the way this page came out. These Lili of the Valley clear stamp sets are so perfect to coordinate in your scrapbooking.. which is one of my New Year Resolutions.

 

I've got a busy week coming up, I'm teaching at This N That Scrapbook store in Chino Hills on Wednesday, my kids go back to school and I'm doing last minute things for CHA because I leave Friday! Thank God I don't have to go anywhere far! Anaheim is about 40 min away.

Hello my crafty peeps!

I'm so happy and grateful for everything I have and everything I've done this year.

It's been a struggle..

It's be fun..

It's been sad...and happy.

 

My kids are healthy, I'm surrounded by family, I've stepped out of my shell a bit with this whole crafting world. Not only do I love every bit of creating I get to stay home and see my kids grow up, help in their classes.. I really am ..lucky!

 

With all of this being said I have a few things out that I've been working on.

 

First is my new class at Color me Creative.

I love this New Years Tilda. She's an ole party animal! Since today is the first of the month, there's a new challenge over at Magnolia-licious Highlites! Our theme is Anything Goes. Which really made this easy considering I had this image colored from my new Copic Class, 'Shades of Grey' at CMC.

These are once again my Cold Hearted Papers. I wanted to show how versitale they are, plus I already had them printed and I've been making samples for CHA so my craft armoire is a MESS!!!!

Like, really a mess!!

Here's a quick card I made the other day.

I used this adorable Lili of the Valley Snow Cute image. Look.. no flowers.. I used my

 Wild Orchid Crafts Brads and Metal flowers to create these gorgeous snowflakes, though. I also used my new papers 'Cold Hearted'. They are great for those Winter cards as well as a Love/Friendship theme card.
