Hello Dear Friend.

Well, hello again.

Here's a card I made using a C.C. Designs Stamp. These are so much fun to color. I cannot wait to color another one. These stamps are very Copic friendly, especially if you are just starting out with Copics. Since this wasn't for a class I was able to load up on the embellishments. Don't you just love a good ole 5 pound card. :o)

Have a great day!

A Pretty Pretty Flower.

Hi there friends out in blogging land! Today I have a card to share using Marion Smith's gorgeous stamp set. This flower was so much to color. I started with a light pink and then got a little carried away with the shading.. then said .. red it is! I also used Marion Smith's Mad Hatter Papers. These are gorgeous!! I love all of the patterns and they are all so different! This stamp is quite large and I didn't want embellishments to overpower the image so I just chose some different textures to accent my card, doily, burlap, fabric ruffled ribbon etc.

Hope you like my card .. have a great weekend.. while I'm stuck at work! BLA!

I miss my Maggies!

Hello all my crafty peeps

I have a card to share, using this adorable Tilda from the new Animal Collection. I sure do miss these stamps. I was going to make this card at one of my Copic classes.. but.. I got a little carried away with the coloring. Notice the lake I created in the background, clouds and all that grass.. not to mention the no line technique. This would have been a good 3 1/2 - 4 hour class! Sooo.. it just became a 'just because' card. I would have added more to it if I would have known it wasn't going to be for a class. Oh well!

The papers and burlap ribbon are from Prima and the flowers and lace are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

Hope you like it. Have a wonderful day.

A Father's Day Card.

Hi there blogging buddies!

Everyone knows I have a difficult time with simple. But for a Father's Day card and using such an adorable image... sometimes simple is necessary. :) This image is from Lili of the Valley and it's called, Take it Easy. I colored with my Copics and kept the layout very simple. I wrapped some twine around the card base and stuck the image on with some 3d foam dots. The dimension really makes the card. Such a fun simple card to throw together for a last minute Father's Day card. :)

The big flower is made using Marion Smith's Bloom Impressions die and tool. I love this little gadget.

I hope you like my layout. My Belle, sure is growing up!
