Lili of the Valley and Gelatos PLUS a Tutorial!

Hi there all my crafty blog peeps!

Hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I got home a little early from work and was able to sit and play a little. I'm trying to get some new ideas going for my classes and try to expand my little creative mind a little...It sure is nice to explore all of these new craft items I'm not used to. I'm like a little kid in candy store..
I sure do love these Gelatos® by Faber-Castell. I decided to do a little 'How To' for you all.
So, I hope you enjoy it!

I took my Lili of the Valley Grunge Elements Stamps. and stamped a few of them randomly all over my 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 white cardstock with some versamark and embossed with clear embossing powder.

Then I took my Faber-Castell Gelatos® and scribbled the Pistachio Gelatos® over where the leaves are. Then, I scribbled the Butter Cream Gelatos® over the flowers. along the edges and around the butterflies I scribbled Acqua Dolce Gelatos®.

I dabbed a little water on my finger and in a circular motion I spread the Acqua Dolce color around the butterflies, first. Then I wiped off my finger and again dabbed in water and smudged the Pistachio color. Last, I did the Butter cream. With the remaining coloring left on my finger from the Butter Cream, I added a little color around the butterflies.

Wait a few minutes for it to dry and then wipe the embossed area with a paper towel. This will remove the color leaving the white outline. a stunning effect, LOVE it!!

Then I took some Whipped Spackle and added some to the center and around the embossed butterflies. Then I took my little poker pen and made some swirls in the Whipped Spackle.

I decided I wanted to break up the pattern a little so I cut this into 4 squares and put a white mat behind each piece. I also added some faux stitching around each square.

After applying then to my card base with the foam dots I decided to take some Glass Bead Glitter Gel and mix some of the Acqua Dolce Gelatos® into it making this gorgeous color that you will just love! I then added this to the corners of my card.

I used my Spellbinders Dies and my Lili of the Valley Quotables for the sentiment. I added some of my Wild Orchid Crafts flowers, ribbon and lace... and voila!

Bloom Girl Art Canvas.

Hey there my crafty peeps!
It's my turn to post on the Bloom Girls DT Blog.
I have used Bloom Girl Jing. She's just gorgeous! Honestly I had no clue where this was going. I wanted it to be black and white.. then I thought I'd add pops of pink. Then somehow blue-green got in there! LOL!

I do love the way it came out though.

I have a coloring video I did on Coloring 980191 Bloom Girl Jing. I was hoping to have it up today. But -- Time has not allowed. So, next week it will have to be!

Don't forget about our Bloom Girl Challenge.
Also Prima Marketing Inc. is having a Contest with the Bloom Girl Totes! So check it out and join the fun!

My Little Crafting Space Tour!

I've had these photos for EVER!!!!
I can't believe I never posted these.. of course I have all my crap in there and I'm in need of a good de-stashing, now! So I can't show you how I have everything organized in there.. Another day!

My ever so talented Uncle built this for me! We designed it together and I watched him build this masterpiece in my garage in the course of a month in a half.

I've been crafting for 8 years now and it sure is amazing I can still stay this condensed. I forget things I have in here.. I can't imagine having an entire room of stuff!

I ♥♥♥ my Armoire! It's about 6 1/2 feet tall and over 5 feet long. ♥

Here it is......

Here's a photo of the Computer Armoire I had before ...

I have peg boards on each side of the doors. To hang all my goodies.

Those brown rails are for my punches.

My little cubbies are for my markers.

The bottom doors open and I have paper slots for my patterned papers. I had them categorized by seasons, events etc. But have recently started separating them by manufacture, for my Design Team purposes.

I have a pull out desk, with folding legs that come down, although they are not down in the photo.

You see that chair in the background... I have decorated my armoire in these colors because I love that chair! I also have painted a wall that same mustard color. So it all ties in with my chocolate colored couch! I'll get some more photos up! I have a tiny little house but I love it so much and have worked so hard for it and everything inside.

Thanks for visiting today.

Bloom Girl Bag and Challenge over at Prima Marketing!

I'm so excited to share this next Bloom Girl project with you.
I have decorated my Prima Marketing Bloom Girl Bag with my Bloom Girl 'Summer' Stamp. I absolutely LOVE the way this came out.

I stamped my image and painted it acrylics. I used some bubble wrap for the circles. I love her eye and the way her hair turned out. Her skin was a little tricky. Overall for my first time ever using acrylics and on canvas I'm over the moon with my results!

This bag is huge! It also has a zipper and is amazing quality.
All the ladies at my Class at Custom Impressions Scrapbooking loved it and this might be our project for November so keep an eye out here or my facebook page.

You can check out my bag and some of my BloomGirl Design Team Members

This Friday's Copic Class at Custom Impressions!

Here's a card I made using Jamie Dougherty's Bloom Girl Gardenia Stamp. I have also used the No Line Technique. I love this technique. I think her hair came out gorgeous! All of these colors really give her hair a realistic look.

We will be making this card on Friday at Custom Impressions in Bellflower.
