Whiff of Joy Challenge 73!

I’m super late with this, I’m so so sorry Bev and Donalda! I had my wisdom teeth on my left side pulled on Monday, unexpectedly. Since I will no longer have insurance I’ve made dr appointments and dentists appointments, using up as much insurance as I can lol! My teeth, or I shall say gums will not stop bleeding. The dentist had to cut my bottom one out because all the tools (she literally hammered my tooth) were not working. So it’s been a wonderful 2 days. I haven’t been able to eat much because of it, well in general actually stress does wonders for my figure, although now I’m probably under 115…

Any who.. Here is my card for this weeks Whiff of Joy Challenge . Our theme this week is a recipe 3 papers, 2 buttons, and 1 ribbon.

No on to my card and this week’s Challenge over at Whiff of Joy’s Challenge Blog. This week there is a beautiful sketch by the talented Bev. My new Magnolia Stamps are here!!!

Well I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend! Mine not so great. I have just started to get happy about settling in my new place, and I really love it! Then my significant other gets a call from his boss saying he is going to be laid off in 2 months, and just wanted to give him a heads up, which we much appreciate. I just don’t get life. How come I’m not allowed to be happy? It’s always something!!

On a brighter note, My awesome, amazing Magnolia-licious Design Team package came yesterday! I LOVE them!!! Thanks a whole bunch Diana. They are all so cute I just kept looking at them alllllllllll day! It was better than Christmas!

I made this card for my friend Sherri and her husband Kenny, today is their Anniversary. Which gave me a perfect reason to ink up my new Bride and Groom stamp! Her favorite color is pink, like mine. Sherri bought me some cute little bows and flowers so I promised to use the blows on her card. Hope she likes it!

Hope you all have a wonderful evening, and rest of the weekend!

Fussy and Fancy Challenge 6, Green!

Happy Friday everyone! This week’s challenge over a Fussy and Fancy is GREEN, since it’s March and St. Patrick’s day is near, not sure exactly when though… LOL! This card reminds me of my birthstone, Emerald. Like an Emerald Fairy! I made this card actually for my cousin, who has been a little down lately, she loves the color green and her hair is probably the same length as this whimsical girl.

This stamp is from Sweet Pea Stamps, they are our sponsor for this weeks challenge and the owner was kind enough to give us all a stamp to create for the challenge. Thank you very much Sweet Pea Stamps!!

This is the first time trying this border punch technique, my friend April discovered a tutorial on it and shared it with me.
