A Summer Wish.

Hello there my lovely blogger friends!

I have a card to share with you all today. I absolutely ADORE this card. This gorgeous little fairy is from Lili of the Valley, as if you didn't already know. This stamp is called 'Time Flies'. Boy, it sure does! I painted her with my Tim Holtz Distress Inks. and for the flower I used my white acrylic paint and speckled it everywhere. It really looks like she's blowing the flower and making a wish. I'm so pleased with the outcome of this card!

 

The papers are Pion Designs and most of the flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts, there are a few from Live, Love Crafts. The banner die is from Whiff of Joy, and the die that the image is cut out on is from Little Darlings, Oh, and the butterfly doily dies are from Magnolia. The little wooden pieces are from Studio Calico.

My last Whiff of Joy card as GDT.

 

Here's my last card as guest designer over at Whiff of Joy. It sure has been a pleasure. I can't believe it's been 6 months already.. wow! These images are so cute I just adore this illustrators work. I used my Fancy Pants Design Papers and sticker as the sentiment. I think it's perfect for the carefree look on this little guy's face. :)

 I've used this darling from Whiff of Joy - Dark Elf Mya on Gravestone. She's so cute!

I've colored her with my Copic Markers. I love the cheesecloth behind the image. Almost gives it a web like appearance.

Whiff of Joy Guest Designer!

 

 

I've been asked to be a guest designer for Whiff of Joy last month

 and I was so excited and happily accepted!

 

This is my first project using the new Sew Sweet Collection. I have used Sew Cute - Maya. I made a little box and it has a folder on top of it. I put a little sewing kit in the folder and the spools of thread in the box! I found the little kit at the dollar store! Pretty good deal, eh!?

 

Well, I'm happy to be able to share my Whiff of Joy creations with you for the next 6 months.

It’s time for another Whiff of Joy Challenge! This week the challenge is Brown, Yellow and 1 other color, of course I used pink! Monday was my great-grandmothers funeral. It was sad. Whiff of Joy Challenge 78, a Sketch!

Happy Wednesday, boy have I had a busy last few days. Monday was my Birthday, I had a a family dinner on Sunday, yesterday I was working on cards. I need to return a few things and I want to go to Michaels, my friend Sherri got me a gift card and I want to spend it!!! Thank you Sherri!

I wanted to have some blog candy up ON my birthday but that didn’t happen so I will have it up a little later today. So be sure to come back later for a treat!

Now to today’s card. It’s a Sketch by Jane, for the Whiff of Joy Challenge blog. I have a lack of photos on this post. MY up close photo was blurry so I don’t have one. I’m having troubles with my adobe and I ran out of sunlight to take more pictures. This day really crept up on me! Don’t worry I already took a ton of photos of my next card, for my later post! I really love this card, Pink and Brown ARE my colors, right Jennifer!?!?!?
