Belles n Whistles, Distressing Challenge.

Happy Monday, today there’s a new challenge over at Belles n Whistles. The challenge is distressing. I used my Distress ink to distress my Magnolia patterned paper, then used my scissors to distress the frame of the image. I love this image, she is adorable and so easy to color.

I have less than 2 more weeks and my term will be up at Belles n Whistles. Thank you so much Summer for this amazing opportunity.

A card for for Michelle!

My fellow Design Team member, Michelle Oatman has recently had a horrible accident, the stamping community has come together to help her. Stampavie has a paypal account to help Michelle with her medical bills and has a cute Digi of a donkey. A Spoon full of Sugar has put together a card drive for her. It truly is amazing how our Stamping community comes together to help out. Michelle I hope you get well soon! Big hugs to you! This card will be in the mail, I hope it brightens your day!

This card is also for my RRR design team, one of my favorite things to do lately is layer up my ribbon and that’s exactly what I did with my RRR July Kit, along with some Ric Rac Ribbon!

Belles n Whistles Carousel Card!

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend. mine was busy. I spent Saturday at my dads house. Then Saturday night my aunt came over and spent the night. Sunday we just hung around, cleaned up, made dinner. It was a fun weekend. I got my Magnolia-licious Design Team package from Diana on Saturday, So lots of new things to play with today! I cant wait!!

Today I have a card for you for the Belles n Whistles challenge. The theme is Brown, Pink and White. My kind of challenge! Soon as I saw this stamp I knew I had to make a Carousel Card, so that’s what I did! I’m really happy with it, the stairs just came to me when putting the card together. Belles n Whistles DT Call

Hello my friends out in blog land! I hope you all had a Happy Mothers Day. Mine was just ok. My great-grandmother passed away Sunday around 9pm. I had gone down to see her on Saturday, I spent all day deciding whether or not to go. She couldn’t really open her eye’s just her left eye. She had Parkinson's and lost a lot of her muscle control, you couldn’t really understand her. Soon as I walked in the room I was balling! I hurried by her side, told her who I was. She started reaching for me I held her hands and told her I loved her. She tried to speak, I wish I knew what she was saying. When I left I couldn’t find it in me to say goodbye, I just said we gotta go Honey, (that’s what we called her) She said alright, which I could make out. On Sunday night I got the phone call she had passed. What a Mothers Day! She had lived a long and happy life, she was 91 years old, such an amazing woman!

All I have been wanting to do is make a card, to get everything off my mind. Today I was finally able to. I made this card for the Belle n Whistles DT call. I have applied at every single DT call they had so I couldn’t let this one pass by without trying!
