Have a Merry Christmas Everyone!!!!!!

Here's a quick card I made the other day.
I used this adorable Lili of the Valley Snow Cute image. Look.. no flowers.. I used my
Wild Orchid Crafts Brads and Metal flowers to create these gorgeous snowflakes, though. I also used my new papers 'Cold Hearted'. They are great for those Winter cards as well as a Love/Friendship theme card.

I just posted a tutorial on Printing Digi-Papers. For those who are interested.

Also, don't forget about my 4th Copic Class at Color Me Creative!
Take your coloring to a different level!
The Class goes up on the 28th and if you pre-register you get $5 off.
ANYONE around the world can take this ONLINE course!!!

I hope you have a wonderful day and it's filled with love and family and lots of yummy food and goodies.. I could go on..

Merry Christmas!!

Digi Paper Tutorial

I've had many requests on a tutorial for printing Digi-Paper.
Soooo... here it is..

Enjoy!

1. Open Adobe Photoshop and all of the papers you would like to print.

2. Then go to File>New>8.5 x 11.

3.Drag your paper file to the 8.5 x 11 canvas.

4. Do the same with the 2nd.

5. I already had a layout in my head so I just turned the heart paper on it's
side and then I pulled it to the 8.5 x 11 canvas in the remaining areas left on the paper.

6. I pulled another sheet over. I use any left over pieces for the inside of the card.

7.Then go to Image>Image Size>Resolution change to 1000.

8. Now your ready to print.. File> Print.

9. Under Print Settings change your paper to Other Photo Paper. I use Hammermill 65lb. Any smooth white light weight cardstock will work fine. Then Print!

If you don't have Adobe Photoshop you can use Microsoft Word.

1. Open a new project and add a photo. Choose your paper.

This is optional.. sometimes I forget to do this. It makes the pattern a little more crsp if you do, though. Right click the photo and go to format picture.

Sharpen by 25%.

Then Print. You can add pages and save them as a PDF if you'd like. That way all you have to do next time is print the PDF. You can save the Adobe Photoshop one in a PDF, too!

Here's the paper!!! :)

A Baby Card.

Hi there crafty friends.
I have a new card to share with you. I will be honest this card has been sitting on my desk waiting to be put together and colored for weeks now! How dare all this "life" get in the way of my crafting!
I really need to make more time to color. I think after the Holiday's I'll be able to get a hang of things a little better. I'm just doing so many things at the same... almost finished with some of them and that will lighten my load.

Thank you for all of your kind words about my Nana. It truly means a lot. She's actually still with us.. hanging on. The Dr. gave her 2 weeks .. well, 2 weeks and 1 day ago. She was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a couple weeks ago. 2 days ago she had several seizures and one time she actually fell and I found out today she broke her nose! Now she has 2 black eyes and is orange/yellow from her liver failing. What a week this last week has been! Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers.

Well, before I head off let's have look at my card. I used one of the latest images from the LOTV release. This ine is called Bath Time. If you'd like to get your hands on some LOTV stamps you only have until tomorrow 12/12/12 at 2pm UK time to order.
Then the shop will be closed until January 7th!

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges.. I haven't done that in a while..

Everybody Art - Anything goes
Pile it on - Embellishments
Stamp Your Life - Anything goes

Supplies
Ink - Memento and Copics
Accessories - Misc Ruffle Ribbon,

December Daily and a FREEBIE!

Hello everybody!

I have been seeing all the December Daily journals and I just love the idea. Well even though I have like no time to do this, last night I sat and did this for me! I found this adorable site called Chic Tags a few weeks ago and I bought the cutest buttons and tags. I was going to use this page as my cover because I love this paper, but I want to have a hard cover to help protect the pages. So I'm still coming up with ideas. I wrote this little poem I want to use... I thought I'd offer it as a freebie to all my lovely blog readers.

You can right click and save. If you use it please share with me.. I'd love to get ideas for my cover!
Also, if you use it please link back to my blog. I'm going to place this on my Digi-Sentiments page.

I cut out part of the girls' Christmas lists and put them on the page, I put the rest of the lists in the envelope. Katie is only 5 and got the ads out and was writing the 'words' next to the pictures of the things she wanted.. she wants the entire stock of something.. lol :)

That's it for now. I will be back with more pages soon and tomorrow with a card!

Got Cocoa?

Hello all!

Today there's a new challenge at Saturated Canary.
Our theme is 'Hot Chocolate' I decided to use this Mousey Mo image.
Having hot chocolate reminds me of Disneyland. In the Winter when we go to Disneyland we always get the kids hot cocoa.

I printed the sentiment and it's available free at the bottom of the post and under my Digi-Sentiments. Feel free to use it.I've also used my Christmas Cookies Digi-Paper. :)

I hope you will join us for the Saturated Canary challenge.

 Have a great week!
