Hi there everyone!

Today I got to do a page in my Smash Book. I have been wanting to do a page dedicated to my favorite books in the whole wide world! The Black Dagger Brothers. I LOVE each and everyone of these books and the newest one just came out last week! I think I'm going to lay in bed tonight and snuggle up with my Nook!

A walk through a pink garden.

Hi there everyone!

Today I have a very pink card to show you. It's actually a little brighter that what I had pictured in my head but I wasn't about to re-make the card. So live an learn. I like it, I think it looks very kid-ish but cute! I decided to pull out my paper blooms for this card.. I just went different all around. :) Anyways our theme over at Just Magnolia is 'Spring'. I wanted this Lilly Dragon to look like she is walking through an over-grown pink garden.

Eggstra Special Easter Card!

It's time for another challenge over at Lili's Little Fairies. This week our theme is 'Anything Goes'.

I decided to make an easter card since that's theme over at this week's Cute Card Thursday Challenge. I just love this Lili of the Valley Stamp - Blossom. I decided to pair this image up with this Magnolia background. It turned out pretty cute. These images made up a large scene so I just used an entire 8 1/2 x 11 piece of cardstock and scored it at 5 1/2. It's huge in real life.. LOL!

I'm a Smasher!!!!

Hello my craftin' peeps!

I've started a new hobby in the papercrafting world and I LOVE it! A few weeks ago I was on the ridiculously talented Krista Smith's blog, which I just LOVE, and she had a Smash Book Blog Hop.. so scroll through her post and seriously was completely inpired! After I picked my jaw up off my desk, I ran out and got one! Then there it sat.. for literally 2 weeks!!! I kept opening my craft armoire and looked at it..pouted and closed the door. I just didn't have time... until last night!!!!!

I just want to share the reason WHY I love the idea of this. I scrapbooked for a while I have 2 books not in order.. just random pages. Well I got completely overwhelmed, having so many pictures and it took me forever to finish a layout. The Smash Book is such a great idea because you don't have to put pictures, use stamps! I also love the fact that I can have this journal to be about me! What I like, what I don't like, poems, books, family, stamps, goals, accomplishments.... anything!

So here are my first pages!! I used California Girl and Smashy Curl from Saturated Canary.

 I hope you like them!

Green for St. Patrick's Day!

Happy Friday everyone! I hope you have a good weekend planned. I hope to stamp and color.. and stamp and color...LOL! That's MY plan anyways. How many time does that go as planned! One can dream.

Today is my week over at Just Magnolia. I have chosen the theme, 'Green'. I'm a wee bit of Irish, and tomorrow is St. Patricks Day, so I couldn't resist. Plus, I really do love the color green, Emerald is my birthstone.

I was given this stamp from Barbro at Magnolia when I was at CHA. Thank you so much Barbro! I love this stamp, I just love the rag in her hair and her long pig-tails. For some reason I imagined her sitting on a log in a forest. I don't have a log stamp, so I just drew one under her after I stamped her. I think it came out ok.

Ok, I'm back with my Cute Card Thursday Card. I colored tired the whole no lines effect. I think it came out good, but when I colored the Ballerina on the left my marker was dry and I don't have the refill... soooo it chuncked on a little on the hair. I think it looks ok though. This is such a different and fun way to color and you get such a different look. Our theme challenge at Cute Card Thursday is a sketch this week. I hope you will be able to join us!
