Pink Bubbles!!

Hello! Hope you all had a great week! I have a card for the Just Magnolia Challenge and for Fussy and Fancy. Over at Just Magnolia there's a fabulos sketch by Bev. At Fussy and Fancy our challenge is Pink and Black! I love the way this card came out. I used my Copics this time. I have been watercoloring so much, I need to alternate so I dont forget how to use my markers! I stamped off the cardstock using the little #376 Emblem from the Wedding Collection. I love the way it looks, sometimes you need a little something else rather than just patterned paper.

Using Ribbon on your Stamped images!

Happy Tuesday stamping buddies! I made this card for my Really Reasonable Ribbon Posting. I really love this card. I wanted to do something different with my ribbon so I decided to put actual ribbon on the stamped image. I think it turned out really cute and makes the cupcake pop!

My friend Sherri came over the other day and I was showing her all my new cards I've made. She mentioned how she needed to get a card for her mother in law, I was like HELLO..... pick one! Then decided to make her a new one. I really love the way it turned out, I hope her mother in law loves it too!

Today is my little girls Birthday. Her name is Belle and she turns 8 today! WOW, where does the time go?

Magnolia-licious Blog Hop meets Wild Orchid Craft Challenge!

Hello, thanks for joining me for another Blog hop for Magnolia-licious! Our Blog Hop theme this month is Nautical. Perfect for those of you who has received the Summer Kit. I haven’t got my stamps from Diana yet, but one of the best things about the Magnolia Stamps, they are all so versatile! This is a background from the Wedding Collection, and the Jolly Roger Pirate from the Fairytale Collection. If you have come from Our newest Design Team Member April’s Blog you are on the right track! Next on the list is Janiel.
This is my first time painting such a large area, this background stamp is gorgeous! I love the big ole sun! I wanted to try a sunset with pink and blues, I think it came out pretty good. I could use a little more practice though. Always room for improvement!
Over at Wild Orchid Crafts Challenges this week’s challenge is to use lace. I attached my lace is the center of the lace so the back part could fold up and be a “stopper” for the Easel to stand, instead of using flowers like I normally use. You can get the lace and all these beautiful flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts. I will have a full list below.
Everybody Art – Blue and White
Stampin Royalty – Splish Splash
Paper Play – Blue Cream and another color

Paper – GCD Papers and SU cardstock
Ink – Versafine – Distress Inks and SU colors
Accessories – WOC Lace, 25mm Baby Blue Roses, White Flat Gardenia flowers, 30mm Lilac Wild Roses, 10mm Lilac Roses, 15mm Ivory Roses, Stampin up Gem Brads, Misc Ribbon and charm.

Just Magnolia goes Vintage and WOC Tutorial!

Hello Ladies, Happy Friday! Here’s my Just Magnolia Card. This weeks theme is Vintage. I hope my card can pass for being Vintage, it looks old fashion .. to me lol.

I also have a Wild Orchid Crafts tutorial for you, I wanted to show you all how I make my flower clusters. Sometimes it’s a little easier to do the cluster this way, that way individual flowers cannot fall off your card and get lost. I’ve had that happen many, many times! lol!!

I also want to share that I have been invited to join the Magnolia Sweden Design Team! I'm really excited. I cannot wait to see my creations in the Magnolia Ink Magazine! I would love it if you would check out My Magnolia Blog, and become a follower!

I hope you find my tutorial helpful. Have a lovely day!

Gather your Wild Orchid Craft Flowers and lay them in the places you want them to be, with all of the stems going the same way.

Twist them all together, one at a time. Here I added another flower, you cant have enough of them!

Here’s the back.

Here’s a smaller cluster I made for the same card.

I tucked the stems behind the image and taped them down.

Here’s the back.

Here’s the card. You may have to add a little piece of double sided tape to the large flowers just to keep it a little sturdier.

Here’s some more photos..

Belles n Whistles, Distressing Challenge.

Happy Monday, today there’s a new challenge over at Belles n Whistles. The challenge is distressing. I used my Distress ink to distress my Magnolia patterned paper, then used my scissors to distress the frame of the image. I love this image, she is adorable and so easy to color.

I have less than 2 more weeks and my term will be up at Belles n Whistles. Thank you so much Summer for this amazing opportunity.

Happy Friday everyone. I really got back in my grove this week. I’m so happy with the last 2 cards I posted. In my Wild Orchid Crafts Design Team Package, Siri gave me these gorgeous purple flowers, so I have been antsy to make a purple card.

Over at Just Magnolia we have a sketch by the one and only Bev Rochester. It is such a fun sketch and I cannot wait to see the entries!

Fussy and Fancy’s challenge is Scallops, Stitching and Sparkles. How fun, right? I cannot wait to see the entries for these as well!
