Thank You Card

I made this card for my aunts boss and his wife, they recently had given me a box of baby clothes for my 3 month old, Katie. It was perfect timing she's growing out of everything!

Fathers Day Card

I made this card for a practice, the card swap I'm in this month we have to turn in a male Birthday card or a Fathers day Card.. I'm not sure I like it enough for the swap though.. I'll have to try something else before I decide. Masculine cards are a tough one .. for me anyways.

Sandwich Baggy Purse Tutorial

Take a 5 1/2 x 8 1/2 piece of cardstock and a fold top sandwich baggy, Score the piece of cardstock at 3 1/2 inches and 5 inches, Take the top of the baggy and fold it towards the back so it's even at the top of the opening. Place adhesive on the top of the cardstock and place the baggy on the adhesive like shown in above picture.

Fold the scored area.

Put adhesive on the top of the inner and outter part of the cardstock then take the baggy and open it to the other side of the cardstock folding the baggy over the outside of the cardstock.

Cut 2 pieces of cardstock 8 1/2 x 2 1/2 inches

Stamp them and score them at 3.1 and 5 inches.

Attach them to the top part of the purse with your adhesive covering the folded baggy.

Cut 2 pieces of cardstock 1 2 1/2 x 2 inches the other 1 1/2 x 1 inch and stamp them or decorate however you'd like.

Place the 2 1/2 x 2 inch cardstock over the over lapping cardstock on each side of the purse.

Here's how both sides should look so far.. almost finished..

Take a 9 inch piece of ribbon attaching each side to the outter part of the bag with brads. leaving about a 1/4 inch or so hanging down from the brad.

Heres Your finished Folded baggy purse. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. It's my first I've ever done. If you dicide to make a baggy purse I'd love to post a picture of it here on my blog so please Email it to me vegas_emerald@yahoo.com Thanks.

2 Cards today How lucky am I?!

For the little holes I used a thumb tact pen thingy .. Which also works well to insert a brad, if you dont have any of the other tools

My mom is going to her friends daughters baby shower sunday so she asked me to make her a card. I used bashful blue, confetti white and chocolate chip cardstock. Bordering Blue ink, Baby Talk stamp set, Stampin' Around Sweet Feet, Stampin' Around Baby Time.

A Baby Card

My Neighbor accross the street just had a baby last Friday I believe, I dont really know her too well but I decided to make her a card. I used Pixie Pink and Confetti White Cardstock. I took the confetti white card stock and used the the words back ground stamp from Baby Talk Stampin Up Stamp set, and I stamped it in Versamark then embossed it with the clear embossing powder. Then I took Perfect Plum ink and sponged it in a circular motion, then I added some Rose Red ink to sponge and went back over it. I stamped the strip in the baby accessories and rubbed the entire strip of pixie pink cardstock on the versamark pad and then embossed itwith clear embossing powder. I ripped the edges and then attached the strip to the plain confetti white cardstock. Simple huh?!

Swap cards came!

This is the first swap I'm apart of and I love it! I love to have a reason to stamp. This one was an Anniversary card or Easter card. They are all so beautiful! All the ladies did such a fabulous job. Next Months is Female Birthday or Mothersday card. I cant wait to get those ones!

Paint can project!

My mom is repainting her room and she has finally emptied out a paint can I really want to turn it into something but what I've gotten some cute ideas from SCS gallery, I'm just not sure if I want to make something for me to keep or make a future gift. My 2 month old has been so fussy so I havent been able to stamp seems like everytime I get out all my stuff it's time to put it away cause it's time to feed her, then dinner or something. But anywho.. all suggestions welcome for my paint can project. oh also tips on cleaning the paint can LOL.
