Fun Stamper’s Journey

Here is my creation for the hop and a little tutorial on how I created it!

 On this card I‘m using SS-0094 With Love and SS-0136 Love You Stamp Sets. Once I decide what I’m going to use I then choose a paper and color scheme. I chose the PP-0004 New DayPaper Collection. Here’s another way to get a layered look by cutting out a shape on your first layer revealing the paper underneath. I stamped my hearts in Pool Play ink and stamped the heart 2 times making one a lighter shade, then cut them out with my DI-0033 Heart Felt Dies.

Then I chose other elements from the stamp sets that I wanted on my card and stamped them and cut them out. I stamped the rose 3 times so I can make a 3d rose in 3 different tiers. Now I will layer my card using AC-0084 and 0085 foam dots in between each new layer.

You can see the shadows of each layer giving your card dimension and height.

I also have added some hearts on my white layer under the Patterned Paper. See those lovely little silver sparkle splatters around the hearts.. that’s Fun Stampers Journey’s fabulous AC-0019 Silver Silk.

One of my favorite parts of creating a card is adding all of those small little details that really give your projects that extra pop! I have used AC-0027 Hearts and StarsWooden Buttons, AC-0102 Paper Clip Elements, AC-0113 Journey Sequins Blue Sky and AC-0005 Natural Journey Twine.
