Some DIY Home Decor!

Hello crafty peeps!
Here's a little project I did last week. I woke up and had this idea about the flower in the frame. I just LOVE this teal-ish color. BV70-78 one of my favorite color combos out of all my Copics!
This stamp is from Marion Smith, so are the little butterflies... and the paper in the background.
This frame is all black and I actually got it from the .99 cent store. Then I distressed it with some white paint. I love it! Of course I had to do the 'no line coloring technique'.
This frame is sitting on my favorite little table with my cute little lamp.. I will have to take a picture and post it. :)

Copic Marker Spain - Anything Goes Use Copics
Mixed Media - Around the house I used a frame.

This project is simply beautiful! What a great idea to repurpose a frame for this piece. I was impressed when you wrote that the frame started out as black-- you gave it a stunning makeover and I love the distressed look you gave it. I, too, cannot get enough of the teal color palette and you've created such lovely shades for the flower. Amazing coloring technique here and you've really caused the flower to come to life. I adore how you incorporated frayed fabric around the edges and love the simple "family" sentiment. The butterflies are perfect, too. Thank you so much for the inspiration and for sharing your talents with us here at the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge Blog!
