 I have a sneak peek to share with you. Isn't this image adorable!

 I actually used some new markers that Jennie Black gave me at CHA. They are called

Spectrum Noir. I love the way this ink blends, it blends so smoothly and look at the rich color of the brown on that tree trunk. Gorgeous!! I will be using more of these markers once I get more colors.

Back to School Blog Hoppin'!

Hello everyone!

I've been a little MIA. I have actually spent the last week moving so I'm very sore, tired and still have a ton to do! I'm hoping to be crafting again next week, but we shall see! Thank goodness I have some things to post in the meantime.

It's time for another Magnolia-licious Highlites Challenge. Our theme this week is Back to School and what do you know. My kids are starting school today! My little one will be going to kindergarten. So I will have a whopping 2 hours of my time. Hey, 2 hours of coloring I can't complain. I REALLY need that therapy right about now!

I'm feeling.. Hot, Hot, Hot!

Hello Everyone!

I hope you are all having a great week. It's super hot in my neck of the woods.. here in Southern California it's supposed to be over 105 all week! Discustingly HOT!

I have some super news to share with you all. I've been asked to join the Lili of the Valley DT!

Of course I had to say YES! I adore these stamps and have been itching to get on the DT for years now. So YAY me! :)

I made this card using one of the new Summer Bear stamps. I really wanted to use hot summer colors, which aren't my regular colors I use. I can't do bold like Ruby Montes.. but hey, I tried!

Happy Friday!

What a busy week! We we to the beach and to my MIL's one day for dinner and to my mom's one day for dinner. I'm EXHAUSTED.. and very much looking forward to a non-busy crafty weekend!

My daughter's birthday was last weekend and this is the card I made for her.

I used it for my Just Magnolia card for this week's challenge, anything goes with the option of handmade flowers. I rolled my favorite lace from Wild Orchid and made this gorgeous rosette. I used this template I forgot I had and found when I was cleaning. :) I just love this new Tilda, too. She's available at Magnolia-licious.

New Challenge at Magnolia-licious!

Happy 1st of the month!

You all know what that means.. Time for another monthly challenge at

the Magnolia-licious Highlites Blog. Our theme this month is to use a stamp from the new

Turning Leaves Collection. I just love this Tilda with corn. I had a lot of fun coloring her with the darker tones.

I know I'm not so much of a blogger. I feel a little silly writing about me or what I do. I'm going to try my best to write a little bit about me .. or what I've done in the last week, in each of my posts.

So here I go..

I went to the post office the other day and my girls always enjoy looking at the cards. So it's almost my turn and Katie, my 5 yr old, turns to me and says,

'Look mom - part puppy and part sheep!'

I started cracking up .. I said, 'That's a llama, dear'! LOL!!

Isn't that funny! She cracks me up, it's amazing the things that come out of her mouth.
