Magnolia – licious Free Standing Pop-Up Card Challenge!

IMG_6143

Please Scroll Down for my CLP Challenge Card

I’m SO excited, Finally it’s time for another Magnolia-licious Challenge. It feels like it’s been forever!! This challenge was a blast! I made one of these cards a long time ago, when I was a SU demo, and limited with what I was able to use! This time was so much more fun! LOL!! I used my new stamp #392 TILDA WITH PEONY from the new Magnolia Wedding Collection.

This is my very first time ever using Distressing inks. What do you think for a newbie? I think I need more colors! LOL

When I was putting this card together for some reason I wanted the nestie to really stand out, I was going to use a piece of card stock but then I thought out of the box and actually cut my nestie container to use the acetate! LOL How creative right? want to get some CD cases to store my nesties anyways so it all works out. Anywho, I’m really happy with the turn out of this card, my card doesn’t slide close like in the Free Standing Pop-Up Card Tutorial on SCS. But then again NONE of my cards close right or can be mailed in a regular envelope.

I hope you join us over at the Magnolia-licious Highlights Blog for the challenge!

Absolutly gorgeous!!! Love the coloring... My first time with distresses was NOT anywhere near this... If you haven't got refils but have the distress pads, ypu can use them as well when you paint, but I'm sure ypu alreay know this...

Have a great day!
