Fussy and Fancy and Guest Designer for Just Magnolia!

I’m so excited to be a Guest Designer and Monthly Feature for Just Magnolia! This is going to be such a fun month.

I have a tutorial to share. Ribbon Ruffle Border. This tutorial is so easy and gives your cards a wonderful dimension and such a different look than just paper. The thicker the ribbon/lace the better.

Supplies:

-Paper you want to border

-Thick Ribbon

-Double sided sticky tape

Ribbon Border 1

1. Whatever piece of paper you are giving the border to, make sure your ribbon/lace is a few inches longer than the paper.

Ribbon Border 2

2. Use double sided sticky tape on the part you want to border, I'm just doing one side, you can go all the way around your paper too if you wish.

Ribbon Border 3

3. Take an end of your ribbon and attach to the tape, then scrunch or fold the ribbon/lace over a little and continue.

Ribbon Border 4

4. I folded all going the same way, you can fold this way or in opposite directions. In the end you should have something similar to this.

Ribbon Border 5

5. If your ribbon/lace is bulky, you might want to place sticky tape so it lays a little flatter.

Ribbon Border 6

6. Like here :)

Ribbon Border 7

7. Here's your finished border!

Now for the finished card, which is also our sketch, by me, for the Fussy and Fancy Blog! Hope you like the sketch! I cannot wait to see all the cards made with it!
