Simple Christmas Cards.

Hello friends out in blogging land! The other day I got my mini Magnolia's from Magnolia-licious, soon as I seen them I visioned a simple card using only one other color. I haven't made such a simple card in a long time. I wanted to show you all how you can make simple Christmas cards using these adorable Mini Magnolia stamps. They are so tiny and super cute! They really don't take long to color. These cards took me about 40 min each to make. I think the layout is really easy and perfect if you are making a lot of cards. I just had to mask those little trees behind the Snowman. I just love masking and it honestly wasn't as bad as I thought cutting out that little image. Both of these images are on 2x2 inch white xpress it card stock, to give you an idea how small the images really are.

Don't forget Magnolia is doing a give a way all month long on the new Magnolia Blog. All you have to do is comment on the Design Team Member's blog. Each day is a new Designer. My day is December 15th!

Have a wonderful day!

Purple Tilda card for Nana!

Hi there, again! I hope you enjoyed my tutorial. If you like those types of tutorials please let me know I have a few more and if you all would like them I'd be happy to post them. It is all about YOU who read my blog!

I made this card for a special person in my life, my 91 year old great-grandmother, Nana. We lost our papa, her husband of 74 years. He died the Monday before Thanksgiving. She adores my cards and her face brightens up everytime I give her one. She keeps them on the table next to the chair she sits in all day. I hope I can bring a smile to her face. She's just lost without papa. :(  At the funeral I asked her what color Christmas card she wanted she said an Orchid color. She's so elegant! I love her dearly. I need to treasure every moment with her!

Have a great Sunday, everyone!

Supply List

Stamp - #3075 Tilda in Christmas Coat
Paper - Magnolia Paper Pack, XPress it Copic Paper, SU card stock,
Ink - Memento, Copics, Smooch Spritz, Chalk Cat's eye,
Accessories - Wild Orchid Craft Flowers, Cherry Blossom purple, purple floral foundations 15mm roses, Wild Rose purple,  Magnolia Doohicky Die, Martha Stewart Snowflake Punch, Zva Crystal swirls, Kaiser crystals, Large Snowflake Christmas tree ornament.

Adding Lots of Shine and Glitter.

I've been asked by my friend, Jennifer Priest, to be a featured artist for Clearsnap. I have made this tutorial to show you how fun and easy using their products to spice up your projects. I hope you enjoy my tutorial.

First get the papers and get your layout figured out. Then I took piece of paper sprayed it with my Smooch Spritz. You can use the heat tool to set the color or you can blot with a dry paper towel.

This next piece of cardstock is going to be the bottom layer of the above piece. I took my colorbox grey ink and distressed the edges.

Then I sprinkles the white glittery embossing powder along the edges and then emboss with your heat tool.

Glue your layers together.

I took a solid color piece of my layout and dabed my grey ink all over it. I did 2 coats to get it nice and wet and ready for the embossing powder.

Then Sprinkle the white glitter embossing powder all over the paper.

Shake it all over and it should look like the picture below.

Then emboss it with your heat tool.

Then I took my patterned paper, I'm goiing to use my smooch spritz and spray the edges.

Take a piece of scrap card stock and cover the paper only leaving the edge to spray, blot with a paer towel and do along all 4 sides.

Put your layout together, look at all that shine!

Another view, and it's so much glittery in person.

I used my Magnolia Doohicky Die and gave my porder a spray with my Smooch Spritz.

I added my smooch border to my image.

Look At my beautiful Tilda from the Christmas Collection. Doesn't she look fabulous in purple!

You will have to come back later for my full card! I really love it! Sorry for the teaser, I have to keep my readers on edge though.

Be back shorty!

Magnolia-licious December Challenge, Letter Frame.

Hi there!  cannot believe it's December 1st already. This year flew by, each year goes by faster and faster it seems. It's time for another Magnolia-licious monthly challenge, chosen by the amazing owner of Magnolia-licious Store, Diana Crick. She has chosen to have decorate a letter, whether it be in a frame or a wooden letter or word. I wanted to make something for my daughter Belle, to have in her room all year. I wanted to do a frame for each letter but time isn't my friend these days. Maybe I'll make another after the Holidays. I tried to use another color other than pink and blue which I've been using a lot lately. I hope you will be able to find the time to join us over at the Magnolia-licious Challenge Blog.

Have a great day!

Holiday Greetings, Secret TIlda!

Hello my crafty blogging friends! I hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving, mine was yummy! Here's my card for Just Magnolia, this week is a sketch by Donalda. I had a lot of fun with this sketch I hope you will join us over at the Just Magnolia Challenge Blog .

I tried something a little different with my coloring. Instead of going for the dark and in depth look I went for soft and subtle. What do you think? I like it but I think I like the dark detailed better. I love doing the pink Holiday cards. If the print on the paper was different it could pass for a Valentines card LOL!

Have a wonderful weekend.

Christmas Angel Tilda!

Happy Friday everyone! Today I have a card for Just Magnolia and Fussy and Fancy. I haven't used my Distress Inks in a while. I though I had colored to dark, but when I was finished I really like the outcome. I embossed the snowflakes in irridecent ice and then added a little blue the the background using my aquapainter. I added white sparkly fluff on the ground and bench, if you look closely.

Have a wonderful day everyone!

Frosty Winter Greetings!

I have another card I was able to squeeze in, and isn't a DT card. Yay me! I am really obsessed with masking lately and making little scenes. It's really a lot of fun, and you can get so many different looks with the same stamps. I just love these two little Tildas, together they look like sisters out in the snow. I have used my Copic markers once again. I'm really practicing with my markers a lot, since in January I will be going to CHA and doing some demos, with Copics, at the Scor-pal booth with the lovely Diana. I'm so super excited! I cannot wait to finally meet Diana and some fellow DT members in person. Wahoo!!!

I hope you all have a great rest of the week, I'll be back Friday with Just Magnolia and Fussy and Fancy.

Dont forget about my candy, it ends THIS Friday!!
