The Magnolia-licious Birthday Bash continues.

The weekend is here and it is supposed to be a nice one, here in Southern California! I have been in a slight slump this week, not sure why but I haven’t felt like doing much of anything.Hopefully I will get some energy this weekend and be all charged and ready to go by next week!

A Pirates life for me!

I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. I made this card on Friday. I have been wanting to make it for quite some time, and have had it pictured in my head. I’m super happy with the outcome. The boat makes it not really a card. LOL! It cannot fold but hey that makes it different and will stand out. (:

I just love these Pirate stamps from the Fairytale collection.. they remind me of Disneyland. My kids love the pirate ride! April had given me the #248 JOLLY ROGER TILDA for my birthday a few weeks ago and I’ve been hoarding her until I made “this” card.

Happy Friday! I have a new favorite card! Isn’t this Tilda the cutest!!I just love all of these new Magnolia stamps where there are different angles of Tilda, and those big wings I love them!

Our Challenge over at Fussy and Fancy is a Recipe, 3 images, 3 patterned papers and 3 different embellishments. Pretty Fussy huh!? The minimum is 3 you can ALWAYS have more!

I have 3 stamped images, one can be a sentiment, 3 papers and I have 7 embellishments! Fun stuff, I really enjoyed this challenge!

Hello all my crafty blogger friends! For those of you who do not know I have been asked by Diana to be a full time designer for Magnolia-licious. I’m extremely excited about this and it seriously is a dream come true for me! So I wanted to make a card to express how I’m feeling about my news. So I had to make a Fairytale card using my Fairytale Stamp Collection and this paper I found at our last months Fussy and Fancy get together, lately we have been going on field trips to our LSS after our crafting session. Everytime I look at this card I will think how very lucky I am to be asked to be on the Magnolia-licious DT! I’m also so grateful for my other new dt spots at RRR and CLP PLUS my birthday so I wanted to do a little something for all of it!

Once again I LOVE this card, it’s my new favorite bla bla bla :)

Belles n Whistles DT Call

Hello my friends out in blog land! I hope you all had a Happy Mothers Day. Mine was just ok. My great-grandmother passed away Sunday around 9pm. I had gone down to see her on Saturday, I spent all day deciding whether or not to go. She couldn’t really open her eye’s just her left eye. She had Parkinson's and lost a lot of her muscle control, you couldn’t really understand her. Soon as I walked in the room I was balling! I hurried by her side, told her who I was. She started reaching for me I held her hands and told her I loved her. She tried to speak, I wish I knew what she was saying. When I left I couldn’t find it in me to say goodbye, I just said we gotta go Honey, (that’s what we called her) She said alright, which I could make out. On Sunday night I got the phone call she had passed. What a Mothers Day! She had lived a long and happy life, she was 91 years old, such an amazing woman!

All I have been wanting to do is make a card, to get everything off my mind. Today I was finally able to. I made this card for the Belle n Whistles DT call. I have applied at every single DT call they had so I couldn’t let this one pass by without trying!
