A little shabby chic, anyone?

Hello all my blogging and crafty pals! I'm back from CHA and full of inspiration from all of my fellow crafters and design team members. I took a ton of pictures and I'll be putting them up sometime this weekend. I have lots to share and there were so many of us at times the poor person taking the photos had a row of cameras that they had to take pictures with. It was SO much fun. My face still hurts from laughing.

Ok, down to business! Here's my card for Magnolia-licious monthly challenge. Our theme is Vintage or Shabby Chic. I went with Shabby Chic since the Melissa Frances papers I used are very Shabby Chic looking. As always there's a very generous prize from Diana Crick from Magnolia-licious. So I hope you will be able to join in on the fun.

I've also made this card for Just Magnolia. Our theme over there is Valentine's Day. This new Tilda with wrapped heart image is great for a Valentine's card.

A Boy Card!

Hi everyone!

 I have a card for Lili's Little Faries, the challenge this week is to create a card for a boy. I made this card last week in about an hour, coloring and everything!! It sure does look a little nakid though. I used some really wild, gorgeous papers by Basic Grey. It was easy not to cover them up with a ton of embellishments.

I leave tomorrow for CHA! I'm looking forward to spending some time with my good friend, Angie and all my other Magnolia-licious buddies. I'm also looking forward to meeting some of my fellow dt members and it's always great to meet new people, too! I've got my camera all charged for pictures! Hopefully I'll take more than last year.

I'm late with my post. Today is my daighter's birthday. She's 5! I cannot believe it. We spent the morning putting her new Lego Friends toy together and making her cake (Angel food cake with strawberries and whip cream! YUM-O)

Here's the card I made for Just Magnolia and Fussy and Fancy. Just Magnolia's theme is to have a windo of some sort on your card and Fussy and Fancy is to include a heart. I have no idea what is wrong with me lately but I cannot find any inspiring papers for the life of me. The last few cards I've made I have taken longer to figure out what papers then it takes me to actually make the card. I guess I need to do some shopping and some serious cleaning out papers.

I used this Ballerina cutie. I had such a hard time finding paper for these 2 challenges. I have a lot of paper and it's just not inspiring me lately. I guess I better head to a Scrapbook store ASAP! Today is our Magnolia-licious Valentine's Blog Hop!

I tried stamping on fabric for my very first time on this project. I bought this tote at Michaels for a couple of dollars. It was tricky coloring on canvas because the ink spreads. I just used my Memento Ink and Copics to color. Next time, I will be able to shade a little better, now knowing how the ink spreads. Anyways I hope you like my project. I know you will enoy the hop my fellow design team girlys have really outdone themselves as always.

It's time for a new challenge over at Cute Card Thursday. Our theme this week 'to make you laugh'. I really been wanting to make some Valentine cards so I thought it would be funny to add the 'Or Else' after the Be my Valentine especially since this new Valentino stamp has a bow and arrow.
