Happy Anniversary with the Minis.

Hello friends! I have an Anniversary card to share with you. I made it for Angie and her hubby.  :) Anytime I make her something I try to use the deeper rich colors she likes. I am thrilled with the way this came out! I tried a little something different with my sky, mixing some colors to create a different looking sunset. It's really pretty in real life.

I used these new flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts! I've found a new favorite, Sweetheart Blossoms! They are a little smaller than Cherry Blossoms. I LOVE them! These darker toned roses are Wild Orchid's new Classic Color Line, they are so pretty.

This is also my card for Just Magnolia and hAngler. Our theme this week is Buttons, Bows and Bling! I do hope you'll join us!

I have been super busy lately and enjoying every minute of it! I want to thank everyone for always leaving me the sweetest comments. Each and everyone one of them mean a great deal to me! I have a hard time getting around and leaving comments myself so it means a lot when you take a minute to leave me a note!

Happy Easter weekend everyone! I have another Easter card for you today. I love this Tilda with newly hatched chick stamp. I think she's adorable! This is my card for the Make it Colorful Challenge. The challenge is to color black hair. It's also my last card for my guest designer spot. I have had a great time this month. I think these girls really challenged me. Coloring Skies at Make it Colorful!

Hi there everyone! I just love the way this card came out. The challenge at Make it Colorful this week is Coloring Skies. I wanted a blue-ish purply sky to give the impression of it was a dark and gloomy day and it's clearing out and the rainbow is shinning! Did I accomplish that look? I LOVE the way it came out. I used Copics and I used BV00, V000, B41, B000 and BG0000 all in the sky. Then I used my Stardust Stickles for the shine. This is such a beautiful background from Make it Crafty it's called Rainbow Meadow. I used my Mini Magnolia Lion, I LOVE him!!!  I will be totally honest I had to to go look up lions online to get his color right. I think it's just DARLING!!! I  know what you are all thinking.. "WOW I can't believe she didn't put flowers" I can't believe it either. I didn't want to cover up the paper I think it's PERFECT and I didn't want to cover the image that took me hours to color! The little touch of Flowersoft was just enough, I think.

Anywho.. Have a great weekend. I'm going to be at my Great-Grandmother's 92nd Birthday Party! :)

Tilda at the Carnival!!

Hello everyone! I have some awesome news! Zoe has asked me to be Guest Designer for the month of April over at Make it Crafty! How awesome is that!?!? I just love this Candy Cart Digi, soon as I saw it I wanted it for this particular Tilda. Doesn't it go perfectly together. The theme over at Make it Crafty this week is to use Bright Colors. I will be honest this is not a strong point for me, but I've been wanting to color brighter. When I first started coloring these images I was not feeling it. ONLY because I was using so many different colors. It wasn't going together. Once I started putting the card together I started liking it. I still think my coloring is off. I need to clean a few of my Copic nibs I feel like it looks a little chunked on her skin. So my tip of the day is.. FINISH YOUR CARDS! Even if you are not "feeling it" Once it's all put together it may come out better than you planned! :)

I want to thank Zoe and her extremely talented design team for having me aboard this month! It's going to be a fun one!!!

Hello Everyone! Today is my day to post over at the Wild Orchid Craft Store Blog. I wanted to make a not so frilly card. I just love this card. These images at Make it Crafty are beyond adorable!
