Every Stocking Counts, right?

Happy Thursday! Only more weekend and both my kiddos will be in school. YAY me! :) I get some quiet time. Well a little, I still have my little one at home. She's good when the other 2 aren't around.

Today I have a card for Cute Card Thursday, it's a sketch. I'm using the newly released Little Darlings Christmas imag called 'Every Stocking Counts'. Isn't she super cute! I love this little scene. I just love these papers I got, they are 3 Bugs in a Rug. I think they are my favorite Christmas papers so far.. this year.. I love the purple! Angie gave me these gold berries, they are the perfect for Christmas cards.

Little Darlings Pleats or Ruffles Challenge and some CANDY!

Today there's a new challenge over at Little Darlings! The challenge is to have Pleats or Ruffles on your card. The design team has done an AMAZING job. I hope you will visit them and join us for the challenge. You don't have to use a Little Darlings Stamp, but if you do and win you get a little extra added to your merchandise gift voucher.

When I was at Angie's a few weeks ago, I really wanted to try Prisma Colored Pencils. Well, they don't like me so much. I can't even tell you how many images I threw out. My 'Little Darling' looked like she used some of that tanning lotion and kept it on too long. LOL! On the day I was leaving Angie's she walked me through and showed me how to use them. This is the image I started. I guess I didn't do as great a job with finishing it. The hair and skin look so much better than the dress which I did at home. Angie gave me her second set of Prisma's so now I can practice. Thanks Angie!

I have a little bit of Candy to give away. All you have to do is link my candy on your blog, become a follower and link up with Mr. Linky, at the bottom of this post.

You have until September 6th to enter. I will choose and post the winner on September 7th. Here's the adorable stamp you could win.

Papertake - Dies
Creative Inspirations - Back to School

Supplies
Paper - Stampin' Up, Copic Xpress,
Ink - Memento and Prisma Colored Pencils, DI's

Sweet, Soccer Edwin!

Hi there all my friends out in blogging land! Hope you all had a great week. I got my amazing Magnolia-licious DT package with the new Winner Takes All Collection. I really like how different these stamps are. I think there's a lot of you who are a little intimidated by this collection since it's not the regular frilly girly stuff. I hope to change your mind with that though. :) I've got lots of ideas to share. Today I'm using Soccer Edwin, I rarely make Edwin cards but this guy is adorable! I used some random soccer paper, Diana has some of the Winner Takes All paper packets over at Magnolia-licious. I really need to get some, these papers can really make your images pop! The other paper I used is sold at Love to Stamp, it's called Out of Print and it's by Basic Grey. It's EXTREMELY hard to tell online but this paper is GORGEOUS! I love it. Angie has all paper pads at Love to Stamp for 4.50 or lower! You sould run right over and stock up!

The new challenge over at Just Magnolia and hAngler this week is to use a funny or different sentiment. I couldn't resist using my new Whimsy School Yard Fun Sentiments.

The new Chocolate Dreams Magnolia Ink out for pre-order. I haven't seen it yet, but I made some projects I'm VERY excited about for this magazine. I hope you will get the magazine and check them out along with fellow Design Team friends projects.

Don't you just love when you haven't used something, then when you pull it out it's brand new all over again! :)

I wanted to go with VERY GIRLY and PINK cause it's me!

This is also my project for Little Darling's new challenge. Which is Back to School. I adore this image Go Team Go. She's so pretty and I love coloring her. The sentiment is Whimsy Stamps new Sentiments, which are on sale over at Love to Stamp today!

I'm so happy these 2 ladies accepted my invite to the team, their work is just gorgeous! We are truly lucky to have them.
