Stamping and Tea with Fussy and Fancy Girls!

Last night was my class with the Fussy and Fancy Founders, we are all such great friends in real life outside our blogging worlds. We have so much fun every month. April always has a spread of such yummy food and the most delicious tea! Seeing April’s cards in real life is a treat in itself. They are breathtaking. We sit in her beautiful living room and eat then we stamp. Last night we made these little spring baskets. The tutorial was on the Just Magnolia challenge blog a few weeks ago and I wanted to make it then, but couldn’t find the time.

***HOUSE UPDATE***

We found a house, it’s such a huge stress relief off my shoulders. My kids get to stay in the same school, it’s only 6 miles away from the house I’m in.Still a 3 bedroom, huge fully gated front and back yard, has a brand new stove and built in microwave. My only downer is I will loose my stamp room. So I need to get rid of some stuff cause I wont have room for it. Oh well. at least I don’t have to sleep on some ones couch! I will be packing all week and move on the 27th and 28th of February.

I should be back to posting in about 2 weeks!

Here are the challenges for my project.

Bizzy Bec – Create a little something

Pink Elephant – Ribbon

Spoon full of Sugar – Spring

Simon Says Stamp – 3 embellishments(brads, ribbon, roses) 2 patterned papers (basket and butterflies) 1 image,

A Short Hiatus... I hope

On Friday my landlord came and gave us a 30 day notice, because he wants to rent to a family friend. I really never thought someone could do this to a family with kids and in such a short period of time. So I'm off looking for a place, and really only have until the 28th then will have to pay per day and that will leave us no money to move. Sooooo I will not be blogging until I can figure out a place to live. I hope to be back soon!!

My little Diva!

I really love these pictures of Katie posing. These were taken probably about a year ago, she really hasn't changed much lol. I got some wonderful paper from a wonderful friend, April, She had bought some paper and then decided it was better for scrapbooking. So she gave it to me and I LOVE IT!! They are papers from the new SEI paper collections. They are so pretty and glittery which you cannot tell in the photos.
I got the sketch from the SEI blog, it's their sketch for the month.
I'm also entering this layout into the Krafty Kat Challenge, it's inspiration from a photo which has rainbow flowers and so does my cardstock!
I also entered this layout in to a number of challenges on the Scrapbooking.com forum.
Supplies:
Papers: SEI
Accessories: Martha Stewart border punch and butterfly punch, ZVA roses, and Misc flowers and buttons, Prima crystal swirls, Big Shot, Sizzix Swirly die, SU! Ribbon, my little shoebox letters.

My first Lily of the Valley Card!

How cute is she!!! I love her I think she's ADORABLE!!!!! I was going to use Pink and Brown and then I heard a little voice in my head, it was Jennifer! So I decided to use RED! Aren't you proud?! LOL!! I decided to try the ABC tutorial challenge which is the cracked glass effect. I just used regular clear embossing powder with like 6 layers and it just doesn't come out like the tutorial :( I need to get that other stuff. But I tried! I was orginally trying to make a regular 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card but when I stood the card up I had glued it all on pside down! So easel card it was meant to be and I LOVE it. I was able to use my new Martha Stewart Butterfly border punch. I also just got this other Butterfly Martha Stewart punch. I'm loving them!!!
Here's the Challenges I've made the card for:
Lily of the Valley - Valentines
Charisma - I love you (what says I love you more than red flowers)
Dutch Dare - Summer (my butterflies)
Copic Color - E18, E42, E77 (My hair colors are close to these)
ABC Tutorial Challenge - Cracked Glass
Truly Scrumptious - Sketch ( I totally forgot the sentiment. I have it though! I was sidetracked by the whole gluing upside down)
Simon Says Stamp - Inspired by a red rose photo
Supplies:
Paper - SU and Misc
Hair & Shoes -E13, E35, E37, E39, E49
Skin - E51, E11, E13, R32
Skirt Flowers - R32, R35, R37, R39
Shirt & Socks - C2, C3, C4
Leaves - YG93, YG97
Accessories - Prima Blingy Swirls, Flowers are Prima and misc, Martha Stewart Butterfly punch, Martha Stewart butterfly border punch, Stampin Up! Ribbon, Paper Doily, White Gel Pen, Heat tool, Clear embossing powder.
