Charmed Butterfly Tilda

Here's a card for a challenge blog I just found called Stamptacular Sunday Challenge. The Challenge is "Charmed" I really dont have any charms so I bent a brad and tied a piece of yarn and hung it from my card. I think it came out adorable. I love how the butterflies and the layers give the card such dimension. The saying stamp is from Paper Make up.

Hope you enjoy looking at it.

Paper Make up Monday Challenge!

Here's my take on Paper Make up Challenge posted yesterday on the Paper make up Blog.
I think this little guy is so cute and is a perfect image for a card for a kid.

Check Out the paper make up Challenge blog. You do not need to use paper make up stamps to enter.

Blending with Copics Tutorial

I stamped my Tilda Stamp in Momento Black ink on Neenah card stock then used my R29 copic marker to outline the areas that should be darker. (picture this in 3d and imagine a light shining from above at whichever angle you wish, the areas in direct light will be lighter/shinier than the "hidden areas" which will be darker.

Then take your colorless blender and go over the red(R29)

Then take your Pink (RV42) and go over the blended red area, and a little more in the dress.

Go over it again to make a little darker.

Then go out a little more. The newly colored area will be a little lighter.

Then go over and out a little more...

and again..

Then take your colorless blender pen and outline the edge of the colored area.

Then go over the white area very softly..

Then take your colorless blender ad go back over the area you just colored to make it lighter, I also highlighted a little over her leg too. You could even take a white gel pen and highlight a little.

Copics used:
R29
RV42

Hope you enjoyed this tutorial.

My Nana asked me to make place settings for their 72nd Wedding Anniversary Dinner, we are having at a fancy resturant I'm so excited to go. I hardly ever get dressed up and go out, kid-less. My sister is going to stay with the kids. Here's the place settings I made I hope she likes them.

More Magnolia!

I love this card. I think it came out pretty good. I started it last night and wasn't too sure because of the so saffron was looking really plain, but after some sponging and piercing the ribbon just brought it all together. My Momento ink came along with my neenah ultra smooth paper so this is my first time using copics with Tilda She is sooooooo much fun to color.

Thank you for looking! Have a great day!

I LOVE them and I'm in some serious trouble.. I know I have tons of tricks to learn with these but for my VERY FIRST time using I think I did a good job with my shading. I cant wait to go play with them again today.
